The Red City Bus

Cost: R150 Adults R80 aged 5-15 for kids and under 5 go free

The Red city bus is a good idea if you are new in the city the bus will help you get acquainted with the city on a hop on, hop off basis. You can choose to sit on the open- top upper deck or in sheltered comfort.

Moyo

Cost: Varies as per the menu. Starters range from R50-R70.

The face painting waitrons at Moyo are great with getting you into the spirit of things. This is a great outing out and loads of fun.  Situated at the Zoo Lake, the Moyo is situated around great settings and views.  By day Moyo offers a relaxed, very family friendly atmosphere but as the sunsets, great live music that sets the evening of fine-dining and ethnic vibes.

The lion Park

Cost: R200 per Adult

The lion park has been voted the No.1 tourist attraction in Gauteng. Open every day and year from 8:30 to 9pm, the lion park guarantees close encounters with some of Africa’s most popular species.

Home to more than 85 lions, including white lions that are rare, cheetahs, wild dogs and hyenas. This is a great opportunity for local and international tourists to learn more about wildlife in a safe environment.

Montecasino

The sky is the limit when it comes to what you are allowed to spend at this great on stop entertainment complex, however, you will probably be better off setting yourself a budget for the day. For those who are not so into gambling, there are many more fun things one can do here.   Enjoy shopping, get something to eat at one of their well-known restaurants, or even visit the bird garden.

Croc City Crocodile & Reptile Park

Cost: R70 per adult R50 for kids under 12 years of age

This farm is open every day it is situated on a farm is only 5 minutes’ drive from Fourways  and is a very exciting place to take your family to  with all its activities, delicious foods and of course and the different creatures and reptiles that you will get to see.  After your tour, you can sit and relax in the tea garden and serves light lunches or enjoy a pizza from the pizza restaurant.

Gold Reef City

This awesome amusement park offers to allot more than just fun rides. This park is located on an old gold mine which closed in 1971, the buildings are designed to mimic the same period. It has a 4D Movie theatre, slow train rides around the park and lots of shops and restaurants.
